Dirty Dishes

THANK GOD FOR DIRTY DISHES;
THEY HAVE A TALE TO TELL.
WHILE OTHER FOLKS GO HUNGRY,
WE’RE EATING PRETTY WELL.
WITH HOME, AND HEALTH, AND HAPPINESS,WE SHOULDN'T WANT TO FUSS;
FOR BY THIS STACK OF EVIDENCE,
GOD’S VERY GOOD TO US.

More often than not my sink has dirty dishes in it. I realize that if I actually set in and do the dishes after every meal it would only take me a few minutes, instead of the hours it takes me to clean them every other day or so. I despise a dirty sink, but I despise doing the dishes more. Its a never ending battle I have with dishes. It will be a fight till the end I don't know who will win me or the dish.

I deleted my first comment because I wanted to add that if I was there I would do the dishes for you. I enjoy washing them by hand as I love the warm water on my hands and I get to gaze out the window and watch whats going on in the world. Its a little bit of peace. See you can have fun doing anything if you just think about it. My first comment said you better get those boys trained to do all the chores you don't like, but then you would work them to death!!!.

Oh my can I relate! I hate dishes and my son refuses to rinse and put them in the dishwasher. I think every time I have to take on the task of cleaning up several days worht that I could spend less time and trouble if we do them as we use them. But we never do. It's a puzzle???
